To maintain transparent and proactive communications with the local communities and its partners, Raglan Mine will host this year’s Environmental Forum on Wednesday, November 20, in Kangiqsujuaq. The annual event will feature several presentations.

On this occasion, Raglan Mine will meet many community partners to discuss our corporate practices, in particular with regard to the environment. Besides the meetings with elected officials, the program of the Environmental Forum includes a discussion session with land users and a general presentation on career opportunities at Raglan MIne. The event will end with a major public presentation during which a number of videos will be presented to the public and a group of experts will answer to questions. Furthermore, the local radio station will broadcast a special open-line program so that community members can ask questions.

The Environmental Forum is a fine opportunity to address issues of concern and hear the comments of the community. We hope to have you with us in Kangiqsujuaq!

Note that awareness activities among local high school students will be conducted that same week, in cooperation with Mining Matters
