As one of the many initiatives developed by the Tamatumani project team, the Inuit Employment Centre is the first entry to receive and process the requests for Inuit personnel from the various services and contractors based at the Raglan Mine site.

The Inuit Employment Centre team carries out the full range of activities included in the staffing process, from the posting to the confirmation that an Inuit employee has been hired.

The Inuit Employment Centre, in partnership with the local employment offices in the Nunavik communities, maintains a database of Inuit candidates interested in working at the Raglan Mine.

The Inuit Employment Centre ensures the visibility of available positions at Raglan Mine by visiting the Nunavik communities. It also develops relations with various designated groups (Leaders, partners in the local and regional employment centres, academic community, individuals looking for work, etc.) in order to stimulate and attract new candidates.
